| Overview |
A Consulting Services Company specialising in Upstream Oil and Gas seeks Reservoir and Production Analytics Engineer to work at an Oil Operator site for a minimum of 18 months. You will provide technical advise and support to Reservoir/Petroleum Engineers on ongoing digital projects and initiatives related Upstream digital transformation initiatives. Applicants are invited with strong experience in the reservoir and production domain including building analytical models, workflow integration, well/surface network models and visualization leveraging information, technologies and engineering tools in a standardized manner. The contract is for 18 months initially, but could extended. of 12 months but could be extended - some of the Engineers could be required to work remotely or onsite in UAE. The Company will organise all logistics such as work permits and travel.
The overall business objective of the oil operator is to enable analytics and digital workflows that can effectively monitor and track the production and operation performance. In this role, you will help to enhance the way the operator is performing reservoir and production analytics and integrated asset modelling, through technical consultation, establish processes and approach, advice and coach the reservoir and petroleum engineering digital team. |

| Responsibilities |
The candidate will provide consultancy services in the following areas:
- Working at the Oil Company site - Support ongoing digital projects and initiatives in collaboration with the Operator’s SMEs in subsurface domain which includes well performance analytics, intelligent surveillance and data driven reservoir modelling. reservoir engineering services.
- Build reservoir and production analytics.
- Integrate input from different information sources and carry out Engineering data QC of the input parameters
- Integrate the model inputs and create preliminary well models for the Production System Optimization team.
- Support asset teams with required hands-on training sessions and technical support for the continuous utilization of engineering workflows and visualizations.
- Develop and maintain Dashboards displayed on the Data Wall.
- Support training and rollout of reservoir and production analytics across group companies.
- Train and develop oil operator personnel on data analytics to enable them to become proficient in analysing data efficiently
- Develop standards and best practices for effective configuration of reservoir and petroleum engineering analytics and extracting information from models
- Documentation of the reservoir and petroleum analytics implemented for future reference.
- Normal working hours from Sunday to Thursday (8:00am to 17:00)

| Preferences |
The successful candidate will have:
- A min of 10 years in reservoir and production analytics essential - including data QAQC, workflow integration, building well models, surface network models and generate performance prediction using analytics and visualization.
- Demonstrable experience in configuring Digital Reservoir and Production Analytics Systems essential
- Good experience in Petroleum Experts software essential – e.g, Spotfire and Data Analytics
- Able to demonstrate sound knowledge in Digital Oil Field technologies and handling real-time data, experience in data science and scripting tools essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the oil operator’s engineers essential
- Can work independently and suggest innovative ideas to improve and enhance analytics solution essential
- Previous experience in the Middle East advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills –ability to relay technical knowledge and concepts in a coherent and friendly manner.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English essential. Arabic advantageous.
