A leading global seismic solutions Company providing advanced acquisition equipment, software and planning, and seismic processing services to the oil and gas industry seek Seismic Acquisition Analysts. Following appropriate training, you will assist clients in optimising the design and implementation of complex seismic acquisition surveys, by effectively utilising the Company’s acquisition software and tools. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in geophysics, math’s, physics or geoscience related subject who is analytical and wishes to purse a career working with an expanding global geophysical player. Role offers office and offshore work, and extensive training in the Company’s navigation and acquisition software, workflows and practices. The role is based in the Company’s offices in Edinburgh, but involves offshore work on a crew vessel. These vessels may be based in West Africa, North Sea and Australia etc. 30-40 days offshore work anticipated in the first year, and then increasing subsequent years up to an estimated 100 days per year.
