Job Overview: URGENT: One of Australia’s largest water utility Companies seeks an experienced Change Manager to manage technology driven change. You will manage the change around introducing new ways of working, processes, and behaviours which could be as a result of ERP or work management systems changes. You will manage both the transformation and change in organisational structure and the communication of these changes to all stakeholders involved. Applicants are invited with a proven background in change management and a strong understanding of technology deployment, preferably in an asset-intensive industry such as the water industry.

The Company are in a transition to a Multi-Function Business Centre model to provide the delivery of customer centric, high quality business services to their staff and partners. It is embedding a customer first ethos and will provide a high-performance service by developing systems and processes to ensure consistency and reliability of service delivery across all functional areas within the Business Centre.

The Client has a preference for applicants living and eligible to work in Australia as there can be a delay in securing a visa. However, if you are not in Australia and feel you have the skills listed then please apply and your application will be considered.

The Client has a preference for permanent but will also consider Contract to Hire. There is a potential for 2 positions for this role.
Preferences: The successful candidate will have:
  • MBA preferred but not required
  • Solid background in Change Management practices/workflows essential especially in introducing new ways of working, processes, and behaviours driven by technology change.
  • Good technology understanding – how technologies are deployed, impact on stakeholders, best practices and goals, etc. essential.
  • Previous experience of working projects relating to ERP or work management system changes such as SAP, Maximo, etc. desired
  • Previous experience of managing internal communications desired.
  • Previous experience in an asset-intensive industry highly desired – especially a utility company such as Water.
  • An assertive individual with the ability to make and support recommendations essential.
  • Strong reporting capabilities – ability to identify stakeholders and manage these relationships effectively.
  • Self-motivated - can work independently and make things happen.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential.
  • Highly organised with excellent co-ordination skills essential.
  • Excellent communications skills essential (both written and oral English), with the ability to communicate changes in a succinct manner to all internal staff.
  • Highly flexible with proactive approach to tasks.
  • Good analytic skills.

Other Information
Package: A highly competitive package is on offer dependent on skills and experience. If interested in contract-to-hire status, a competitive day rate will be offered.
